Like most people I have a bucket list of dreams/goals I would like to experience before I die. This weekend, I ticked an item off my bucket list which was to attend a large music festival. Ultimately my music festival goal is Coachella, a perfect mix of music and style. Until then my Wireless Music Festival experience has me covered. Wireless is London’s annual three day urban music festival and this years headliners included big names like J Cole, Future, Calvin Harris, Boy Better Know and much more. J Cole Is probably my favourite hip hop artist aside from Drake so I opted to attend the Festival on Saturday. It was good vibes only, hanging with my Day 1’s enjoying the music and hype atmosphere of the Festival.

Earlier this month I ticked another item off my bucket list which was to attend a music concert of an iconic artist. One of the most influential artist of my generation is undoubtedly none other than the Queen Bey. I absolutely loved Destiny’s Child growing up. Admittedly I wasn’t entirely sold on Beyoncé’s solo career in her earlier days. However, her most recent album “Lemonade” has me almost signing up to be part of the Bey Hive.
As part of her World Formation Tour, Bey performed at Wembley Stadium and l was blown away. An incredible performer with an incredible voice. The event was well worth the pricey cover charge for the experience. I have always been familiar with the phrase “deafening applause” but that was the first time I truly understood and felt what it meant. One of the things I love about Beyoncé and her music is that she’s all about female empowerment. I definitely left that concert feeling “Flawless” with a huge “Ego“.
I ain’t “Sorry”! :D:D:D
Let me know in the comments below about your favourite concerts or music festivals you’ve attended to date.
Until next time :).
