Time really does fly when you’re having fun. The final day of my holiday was spent appreciating the stunning views of Barcelona from a Sky Tram, Monjuic mountain and Park Guell. I actually hate heights, but I try to never let my fears stop me from having great experiences. It was great to leave the city side behind for a bit and just explore the natural side of Barcelona. There was lots of walking involved, hiking up and down mountain terrains but it was definitely a lot of fun and the amazing views were worth it! All in all, it was an awesome trip…
You cannot visit Barcelona without viewing firsthand the amazing historical site that is La Sagrada Familia. This massive Roman Catholic Church designed by Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí is certainly….unique. The inside of the church is quite beautiful but it is the stunning architecture of this monument that is really worth seeing in my opinion. Hence, unless you’re quite religious or a history buff, I would save money on the 15/18 Euro general admission and just appreciate the wonder that is La Sagrada Familia from the outside. Greetings from Barcelona! My second time visiting Spain, Barcelona surely did not disappoint and was just as sunny, vibrant and architecturally stunning as Madrid. It felt so great to wear shorts again and bask in the sun. My first day was spent exploring the Spanish markets, roaming the alleyways of Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter and frolicking in the sand and water at one of Barcelona’s many beaches. Such a beautiful city with so much wonder and excitement to offer. I hope you enjoy this style blog, one of many more to come detailing my Spanish adventure. Until next time :). Stay…
Full Disclaimer: I love monochromatic outfits! Despite all the stress of last week, I successfully completed and submitted all of my assignments and I am now officially on Easter Break (Woohoooooo!!!! 🙂 ) To blow off some steam, I went on a day trip to Stonehenge and Bath over the weekend and it was so much fun exploring and learning all about some of the UK’s most historical sites and cities. You can read more about that trip tomorrow on the blog so keep a look out for it! 🙂
Full Disclaimer: Time is Flying! I cannot believe that I am already more than mid-way through my second semester. This is my final week of University before Easter Break and I am completely swamped with assignments and more than a little stressed out (haha). On the bright side, the sun has been making a consistent appearance over the last few days and it has been absolutely wonderful.
