“Like Fine Wine“ So I turned 27 yesterday…yea that happened :). Initially, I wasn’t super excited about my birthday as I hoped to spend it travelling, however those plans fell through leaving me a bit bummed. With no travel plans, I was pretty content to just spend the day in bed but my friend convinced me that I should do something and I’m glad she did. This was definitely a birthday for the books! It was a night of drinks, dinner and dancing with good friends. Thanks Mel, Megi and Renece!
“All Noir Everything” Let’s talk Spring Style! I recently shared some affordable and trendy spring style inspiration on the blog. Adding to that, maxi dresses are another spring must have! Easy and convenient to wear and super cute, be sure to go for a style that flatters you and your body shape. I have been loving deep V tops lately and the loose flowy style of the bottom of this dress is perfect for people like me who want to be comfy and able to eat as much as they want to without fear of looking bloated afterwards. Maxi’s are also a great compromise…
“Wake each day excited to bloom in a new way.” Over the weekend, I submitted my final class assignment for my Masters programme. With just a dissertation to go, I can’t believe how quickly the time has flown! That also means that it’s time to update our wardrobes with all our spring and summer essentials like denim shorts, cute dresses and sunglasses. The dilemma however is always how to look trendy and flawless without breaking the bank. I’ve included for you here a list of ten spring/summer essentials I was lucky enough to snag for under £10 and many of them are still available for you to snag too! Let me know which is your favourite 🙂
Time really does fly when you’re having fun. The final day of my holiday was spent appreciating the stunning views of Barcelona from a Sky Tram, Monjuic mountain and Park Guell. I actually hate heights, but I try to never let my fears stop me from having great experiences. It was great to leave the city side behind for a bit and just explore the natural side of Barcelona. There was lots of walking involved, hiking up and down mountain terrains but it was definitely a lot of fun and the amazing views were worth it! All in all, it was an awesome trip…
